Helping a fintech app move from acquisition testing to growth-ready paid media

  • Paid Media

Stratiphy is a fintech investment app designed to help users build and manage investment strategies more confidently.

The platform allows users to turn their market ideas into structured investment approaches, with a proposition built around accessibility, insight and smarter decision-making.

As Stratiphy prepared for its next stage of growth, the team needed to understand whether paid media could drive not just app installs, but meaningful progression through the full acquisition funnel:

  • Registration,
  • onboarding
  • and, most importantly, funded accounts.

The Challenge

Stratiphy needed to acquire onboarded users at a sustainable cost across Google and Meta, while also proving that paid media could support deeper commercial outcomes beyond app downloads.

The key challenge was that app install campaigns alone were not enough. For Stratiphy, the real measure of success was whether users continued through the journey after installing the app: registering, completing onboarding and ultimately funding an account.

This meant the campaign had to solve three connected problems:

  • Measurement: making sure the right in-app events were being tracked and attributed correctly.
  • Acquisition: reaching relevant audiences across Google and Meta at efficient CPAs.
  • Funnel progression: optimising activity around users who were most likely to onboard and fund accounts, rather than simply chasing low-cost installs.

What we did

Creode worked closely with Stratiphy to build the paid media programme from both a technical and strategic perspective.

A major early focus was getting the measurement and attribution setup working properly. This included resolving AppsFlyer tracking issues, checking event configuration, improving visibility across the user journey and ensuring that campaign performance could be assessed against meaningful funnel stages.

Once the tracking foundations were in place, we planned, launched and optimised paid acquisition campaigns across Google and Meta. Activity included app-focused campaigns, audience testing, retargeting and demand generation, with video assets used to introduce the proposition to new users and support stronger engagement further down the funnel.

We also repurposed existing creative assets to give the campaigns more variety and flexibility without requiring a full new creative production cycle. This allowed Stratiphy to test different messages, formats and audience segments efficiently while keeping the campaign agile.

Alongside campaign management, we developed performance dashboards and KPI reporting to give the Stratiphy team a clearer view of the complete acquisition funnel – from install through to funded account. This helped move reporting away from surface-level metrics and towards the numbers that mattered for investor conversations and future growth planning.

The impact

The campaign generated a meaningful volume of users through the funnel during the trial period.

Between February and June 2026:

  • Stratiphy generated 1,400 app installs from £9,155.35 in media spend across Google and Meta
  • Average cost of £6.54 per install.
  • 732 registrations delivered at an average cost was £12.52 per registration
  • 329 onboarded users at £27.91 per user
  • 168 funded accounts. at £55.83 per funded account.

Crucially, the results showed that users continued to progress through the funnel even after acquisition spend had paused. Funded accounts continued to accumulate after the initial acquisition activity, demonstrating the lag between acquisition, onboarding and account funding – and giving Stratiphy a more realistic view of how paid media contributes to growth over time.

The campaign also gave Stratiphy a stronger evidence base for future planning. Rather than relying on install volume alone, the team could assess performance against funded accounts – the KPI most closely aligned with the next phase of the company’s growth.

“Creode have been flexible and collaborative throughout the campaign. They helped us get the right tracking foundations in place, worked closely with us on campaign direction and reporting, and gave us a much clearer view of how paid media can support our next stage of growth.”
